Apprenticeship is an industry-driven, high-quality career path where employers develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience, classroom instruction, mentorship, and a portable credential. These apprenticeships have the accreditation of a college, flexible learning, and hands-on experience a career seeker needs to step into an exciting job in technology with critical infrastructure. Not all employers offer them, but you can be assured ETAP is connected to employers who do.

  • Automation Specialist

    The entry-level software role for operational technology networks that is in the greatest demand nationwide. Field based information assurance is performed through software startup, point verification, systems commissioning and network troubleshooting.

    *A prerequisite for Advanced Learning Paths.

  • Cybersecurity Specialist

    Assess operational technology system vulnerabilities and coordinate proactive actions to mitigate risk. Respond to incidents and follow best practices for incident management.

  • Integration Design Specialist

    The integrated automation designer, document producer, and device selection decision-maker. Responsible for creating design submittals and documentation used by operations for project execution.

  • Technology Project Specialist

    Project management developing project budget, scheduling, staff management, and business skills required for success. Requires prior technical competency and experience.

  • Application Specialist

    Advanced programmer and application engineering to deliver optimal user experiences, workflows and software procedures for deployment, maintenance, and service of applications.

  • Controls Specialist

    The entry-level hardware technician for instrumentation and controls within a facilities services team. Their core focus is to support, maintain, repair, or install instruments and control devices for a variety of building systems.

  • Systems Specialist

    Experienced technicians charged with solving existing system problems and support. Heavy system specific training, network-related troubleshooting, software programming deeper dives, and customer facing soft skill development.
